Basurin: Ukrainian shelling killed 21 person

In the last 24 hours 21 persons fell the victims of shelling on the part of Ukrainian Armed Forces and 124 received injuries of different severity, Executive Commander of Corps of the MoD DPR Eduard Basurin said.

“In the course of artillery and mortar shelling of the DPR settlements five civilians died and 38 were injured, losses among the DPR military personnel comprise 16 KIA and 86 WIA”, — Basurin told the journalists.
Moreover, he remarked that MoD Dpr registered 58 instances of the ceasefire regime violation on the part of Ukrainian forces. It should be mentioned that UAF did not hesitate to use MRLS, which should have been withdrawn from the demarcation line.

“Ukrainian military targeted Abakumov mine from MRLS, “Tochmash” works in Donetsk, as well as residential areas of Donetsk, Gorlovka, Shirokino, and Spartak had been subjected to shelling, in the course of which more than 100 shells of 122-mm and 152-mm caliber had been fired”, — he said.
