The Russian Emergencies Ministry’s 59th humanitarian aid convoy delivered 160 tons of medications and food to Lugansk.
The supplies include 26.2 tons of medicines, 3.6 tons of milk formula, 20.5 tons of vegetable mash, 21 tons of milk porridge, 10.5 tons of fruit mash, 18 tons of fruit juice and 38.5 tons of meat mash, a State Reserves Agency representative told Lugansk Media Centre.
Russian rescuers also delivered 18.7 tons of New Year presents and special purpose humanitarian aid comprising notebooks, food, office supplies, detergents and toys.
On 24 November, 17 Russian trucks delivered some 160 tons of goods to LPR, including medications and baby formula.
The first Russian humanitarian aid convoy arrived in the Republic on 22 August 2014. Russia has delivered more than 65,000 tons of humanitarian supplies for residents of the Lugansk People’s Republic and Donetsk People’s Republic since.
