‘At first our district was shelled, then mother died and father was left somewhere’, said boy from Donbass (video)

It is getting very frightful when you are listening the stories of small children about war. Even fighters who saw a lot keep back hardly their tears.
The correspondent of the agency arrived to one boarding school of Donetsk in time of another regular humanitarian campaign. Children-orphans and children of families-refugees are living there. Volunteers brought usual aid: food, clothes and gifts.
When food was unloaded, we met boys who prepared for the fest and had rehearsal of New Tear costumed performance. Boys saw militias who accompanied the load and started put questions: how is to be in the militia is it frightful in time of the battle, and the main question is it possible to take the automat in there hands?
Of course, no one gave them automat, but the fighters explained that automat is not a toy and that the main is study in the life.
Boys promised to study well. Then one of the boys asked the militiaman where does he live, and it was found that they both are from one district, Petrovskiy district of Donetsk.
And the boy started telling: ‘Our house was struck with bombs. All the windows fell out, and the fence was damaged. We live in a block of flats and now it is with no widows. And the roof was struck some times; there is a big hole now’.
The second boy joined then. ‘We were also subjected to the shelling. Our house was also struck, there was a big fire. Shells fell also on the next to us street, and were explosions. I was going home once and I saw a big fragment. I did not touch it, it could expose’.
‘Our district was shelled primarily. It was in summer, mother was killed, and father was left there’, told a child.
All children told how they were left without parents, militias encouraged them, and promised to protect and support.
After this, boys remembered they had t go to have dinner and continue the rehearsal, and ran away…
