LPR mining enterprises produced 27 thousand tons of coal in a week, the Council of Ministers Chair Sergey Kozlov said at today’s meeting attended by LPR Head Igor Plotnitskiy.
“From Nov. 11 to Nov. 18 the coal production amounted to 27 tons, 14 coal mines in operation,” Kozlov reported.
The Ministry of Fuel and Energy issued six licenses in a week, he added.
On October, 6th the Nikanor-Novaya coal mine of the Tsentrugol State Unitary Enterprise in Zorinsk, Perevalskiy district, launched a new coal face after standing non-operational for more than two years. In September, production began at the Fashchevskaya mine.
Earlier, acting LPR Minister of Fuel, Energy and Coal Industry Pavel Malgin reported the Republic’s coalmines had stepped up production to 3,200 tons of coal a day.
