Perhaps it’s not that easy for you, being a citizen of totally mono-ethnic Belgium, to understand, and to tell the truth, watching mainstream TV can’t be of a great help in such a matter.

I don’t see what is wrong again with this comment tha you delete it.
    et your readers read it.
So I will repeat (and add still something)

    …. about Belgium.

In the north we have 6, million Dutch speaking Flemish people … and in the south 4 million French speaking.
Both languages re completely different (German language group and Latin language group)

Early last century, French was spoken by the the rich and “bourgeoisie” and Dutch by the poor.
In WW I the officers and commanders were French speaking … and the Dutch speaking cannon meat.

Also the people in Flanders and Walonie are different.
If I drive from Flanders to Walonie, it looks like you are entering another country.

But we stay together … and if there is a problem we solve it with politics and not with kalashnikovs.
And the French speaking don’t ask France to intervene.

    Perhaps you learned something.
So don’t start about ethnic groups or so … speak with each other and make no war.

But your war has nothing to do with it … it is Russia who doesn’t want Ukraine be a part of Europe (and certainly
    not of NATO)
That is the reason of your war.

You are absolutely right that you said that it is possible to speak different languages in one country. You, forgot probably to mention Switzerland, Luxemburg, Lebanon, and some others. However, the abitlity to use native languages, support traditions disappeared 1 year ago in Donbass, when people in Kiev arranged the Maidan, when new illegal government started dictating how to live, what to do, what stop to do.
