The Kremlin questions the accuracy of the data of the OSCE monitoring mission to Ukraine which allegedly registered presence of the Russian military in the conflict zone. “The trustworthiness of this reports needs to be verified,” Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov has told reporters.
“I read these reports too, of course, the trustworthiness of these reports needs to be verified,” he said. He added that the issue was “more within the competence of the Russian Defense Ministry.”
Peskov noted that “the main thing was to figure out what this was all about.” “We know that unfounded accusations to this effect came on numerous occasions from various official sources, and every time it turned out that that nothing specific was meant,” he said. “So, I do not know how things stand with these statements this time,” Peskov said.
