One of the most well-known people of new Donbass, human-rights ombudsman and political figure of the DPR Daria Morozova.
Tender young woman, 26 years old. She gesticulated actively in time of the interview, sometimes fear was in her eyes, sometimes admiration and sometimes indignation. She told how the first time she faced USS (Security Service of Ukraine), how God saved her when she passed by car mine field.
It is possible to argue and consider a lot on a topic that she is so young, what can she do at this position’, however, she did not leave her mother town, she did not go, however, her financial state gave her such opportunity to go and to live normal life, for instance in Russia: to go to clubs with friends. Nevertheless, she stayed here, and how personally Daria says.
–I may do wrong things sometimes, however, I do what I can: I started this mission and I will carry out it’, Daria said. ‘It is my city also, everything is close to me, I want my child to go to school here. Doctors in Donbass are the best, we have the best universities and technical schools’, she added.Why did I have to leave everything and go?! Moreover, I would not sit somewhere; I would not be able to leave everything, when such tragedy started in my city.
The conversation went on and Daria shared her impressions from the first war prisoners’ exchange of the DPR and the first exchange when Minsk agreements were established. The question of speculation of war prisoners list formation was raised also. Daria reacted so unexpectedly at this question, she explained how people are included to this list and how this method was chosen, she tried to stand on place of relatives of was prisoners.
