The actions of the Right Sector militants in regard to the OSCE observers prove the failure of Kiev’s attempts to take extremist groups under its control, the DPR Defense Ministry told the Donetsk News Agency today.
“All attempts by the Kiev authorities to integrate nationalist gangs into units under control of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense have been futile. The attitude of the militants of the Right Sector towards the OSCE observers proves it,” – the DPR Defense Ministry said.
Earlier, the OSCE mission reported that on 5 July the militants of the Right Sector hadn’t allowed the OSCE observers to proceed to an observation post of the Joint Center for Ceasefire Coordination and Control in Avdeyevka (occupied by Ukraine). The militants of the Right Sector said that they had their own orders and did not fall under the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
