The Fifth TPP Thermal Power Plant Shutdown In Ukraine, Lights Out At Slavyanskaya TPP !
In Ukraine, the fifth thermal power plant (TPP), which operates on anthracite, the Slavyanskaya TPP in Nikolaevka has ceased to operate. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy on the accumulation of coal in coal storage facilities.
Today, only the Luganskaya TPP in Schastye continues its work. TPPs operate separately from the IPS of Ukraine. In total, there are 14 thermal power plants in Ukraine, which, along with nuclear power plants, are the main producers of electricity in the country, seven of them work on scarce anthracite, the rest work on gas.
Despite the supply of coal from the aggressor country, Ukraine was forced, due to the lack of anthracite, to stop the largest thermal power plants in the country – Triposlkaya, Zmievskaya, Pridneprovskaya and Krivoy Rog TPPs.
