And now, the officers have been fired !
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Arsen Avakov, has dismissed a number of policemen in the city of Dnieper (former Dnepropetrovsk) due to the mass brawl that took place in the city on May 9.
The head of the Ministry wrote about this in his Facebook. In particular, he noted that the head of the Dnepropetrovsk region police department, General Repesko, and Colonel Bidylo, the head of the city police department of Dnieper, had lost their posts.
On May 9, a massive scuffle took place in Dnieper, during which 14 people were injured, and 15 people were detained on suspicion of involvement in the clashes.
Earlier, it was reported that during the celebration of May 9, the Ukrainian police detained 45 people.
