The reaction of the Committee to Protect Journalists in Europe and Central Asia was raised by the death of photo correspondent of Ukrainian newspaper Segognya (Today) Sergey Nicolaev near the settlement Peski un Donbass who was occurred under the shelling.
New York, 3 March-RIA Novosti. The Committee called the authorities of Ukraine and the militias in the East of the country to protect the security of the journalists who give coverage to the events of the region.
International nongovernmental organization spoke with this announcement on Tuesday in connection with the death of photo correspondent of Ukrainian newspaper Segodnya Sergey Nicolaev.
‘We call all the parts involved into the conflict in the East of Ukraine to do maximum to provide security for journalists whose very important role is to report news to all the world’, announced the coordinator of the Committee to Protect Journalists in Europe and central Asia Nina Ognyanova.

You are mistaken a little bit! You are absolutelly right that the most dangerous places for journalists are Syria and Irak, but after them in the list is Ukraine, not Russia! Be more attentive!

According to the official dates made at the end of the 2014 by international organization of protection of journalists, Ukraine was in the list. It was in the top 10 countries where the amount of killed journalists was big, and Ukraine got the 1st place of amount of captived and tortured journalists.
