72nd Anniversary Of Liberation And Independence From Nazi Fascism ! Donbass – Saur-Tomb
Today, I arrived at very special place, dear to everyone’s heart. For those who love to travel, a place where at least once in your lifetime , this is the place, it is a must to see, Saur-Tomb. Two bloody battles fought here. A strategic area due to its high plateau, logistical in a military sense, you can see miles and miles around you. It is , if not one of the highest points in all of Donetsk People’s Republic. My second visit to this mystical place and again, dark clouds as I arrive with such high winds. Your body starts to shiver, you can feel something , something in the air. The winds getting stronger, you can hear the screams in the air , some in agony, you can hear gunfire, a battle roaring. The winds scream out again and again , you finally hear the screams of victory ! It was here, where the mighty Red Army in a blood soaked field wiped out and destroyed Hitlers Nazi German forces ! It was here our great Veterans of the Patriotic War crushed the Nazi machine !
At the top of the hill, i take a deep breath, and close my eyes, and again the winds pick up, i hear more screams ! Bodies everywhere, a battle raging, the intensity, total carnage. This is different, the battle, the uniforms , the military equipment . It is last years battle, 2014. The battle for Donbass ! I open my eyes, realize where iam standing. I see flags flying at the top, proud units, victorious . It was 30 to 40 Brave Men and Women who held this strategic hill. Surrounded by hundreds and hundreds of Nazi Ukrainian Forces. Desperate, some dying and the few holding on, they called for support . It was a sacrifice that needed to be done ! Their area had to be bombed ! The brave men and women of the Novorossia Army holding the hill, needed their position to be shelled by their own Army ! The sun is coming out now, shining on field that was once filled with blood. I hear only a few made it out alive from this battle . A battle fought from the blood and spirit of the veterans of the Great Patriotic War to our new generation , our beloved Novorossia Army ! There is still pieces of carnage here, and so much shrapnel of all sizes to take home as souvenir’s. The great monuments representing the great patriotic war of WWII, have been hit with Nazi gun fire, but they are still standing ! Also, what is so magical and mystical about this place, there is a small tree, a tree standing alone with ribbons tied on its branches. A tree that withstood from the Great Patriotic War of WWII till now. The Tree Of Saur Magila !
