Authorities of the Donetsk People’s Republic have lifted a ban on exports of grain all to the countries except Ukraine, the republic’s Prime Minister Alexander Zakharchenko said on Wednesday.
“Now the ban has been lifted and it stays in effect only as regards,” the Donetsk News Agency quoted him.
Zakharchenko recalled that the ban on exports of any types of grain was introduced in 2014 when the republic ran the risk of being left “without a slice of bread or a handful of flour.”
On the whole, the farming sector has taken the leading position on the list of exporting branches of the economy in the DPR.
