On October 20 Donetsk was subjected to the most terrible shelling since WWII. Ukrainian castigators targeted our city with ballistic missiles “Tochka-U”. Coverage area of this weapon is several hectares.
Every inhabitant of Donetsk felt the shock wave. The city was shaken. The blast was so powerful, that the windows of residential houses, schools, hospitals and other structures in the radius of some 10-15 km from the epicenter broke out, in some places central heating systems were also damaged. A single strike – and the city suffered a great number of destructions. Artillery strikes are nothing n comparison to “Tochka-U”. They aimed at the State-owned Works. Dozens of civilian object were covered by the damage area. There were casualties among the peaceful population: more than 20 persons were wounded.
Urban infrastructure suffered at the hands of Ukrainian military once again, as they cannot fight in another way. They are fighting with civilians, destroying their dwellings, kindergartens, hospitals and schools. They are not sorry for our children, which have to sit at home during a school term, or even have to hide in bomb shelters more and more often.
The Batula School 71 was also damaged by this strike. It had just been brought into order in the aftermath of the previous shelling, the window panes had been fit in and the central heating was functioning. In the morning the repair crew phoned and reported full readiness of the school for study process. In half an hour, at 12.04 of local time, an explosion sounded in Donetsk and the shock wave made great destructions.
The inhabitants of the city of Saint Petersburg collected textbooks, which would have been used by the students. These textbooks were to be distributed, but right now it is not known when the children will be able to start studying. A lot of efforts will have to be made in order to restore the building. There is a great probability of the next destruction, as the area is constantly subjected to shelling on the part of Ukrainian castigators.
Window panes are broken; the central heating is out of order in the school and the children devoid of their right to study.
A plea to all caring people: provide reasonable aid for the reconstruction of cities and towns of Donbass and help those people in Novorossiya, who suffer from shortage of food.
