Bikers from Night Wolves-Donbass motorcycle club restored the Victory Star monument, damaged in an blast of an improvised explosive device on September 10-11.
Unidentified bombers on November 10-11 night set off an explosive device installed beside the pillar of the Victory Star monument erected close to the overhead highway in vicinity of Lugansk railway station. According to LPR Ministry of State Security (MGB), a concussive explosive device was equivalent of 3 kg of TNT.
The ploy might be a Ukrainian agents backlash after football club Zarya neo-Nazis ultras were arrested by the LPR Ministry of State Security (MGB).
“We restored it, reinforced the base and attached a sigh informing that the Star is installed as a symbol of 71st anniversary of the World War II Victory”, said Night Wolves-Donbass leader Vitaly “Prokuror” Kishkinov.
“We restored it with the assistance of Lugansk administration head Manolis Pilavov,” he added.
In November MGB investigating the Zarya ultras case found out that youngsters from football club Zarya neo-Nazis were connected to special services of Ukraine and were involved in sabotage acts across the Republic.
The ‘They defended Motherland’ monument in Peoples’ Friendship park in central Lugansk was blown up by unidentified bombers on September,1. The sculpture of kazak militiaman sustained minor damage, that was repaired in a week. Two leaders of the ultras group linked to Azov nationalistic squad, responsible for murders of Donbass civilians, have been arrested.
