The twin blast organized by Nazi Kiev saboteurs rocked the center of Lugansk today afternoon killing an LPR servicewoman and wounding seven people, said LPR People’s Army spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Andrey Marochko.

According to preliminary reports, an improvised explosive device had been placed into a garbage bin next to the food shop.

The type and power of the IED is being established.

“Today Nazi Kiev saboteurs perpetrated two terror acts, a woman was killed, five people wounded by the first explosion, two people were injured in the second one which occurred just several dozen meters away from the first one. The explosions hit a busy street where shops and post office are located. One of the explosive devices was filled with splinters.”

“It testifies to the fact that the perpetrators of the terror acts wanted the attacks to be as deadly as possible.”

A second explosion occurred in the center of Lugansk city today, as a car exploded 50 m away from the site of the fisrt blast.

“The second explosion hit a street in the center of Lugansk at around 5 p.m. According to preliminary reports, a car exploded”, LPR People’s Army said.

No casualties have been immediately reported.

LPR servicewoman was killed, five people including civilians were injured in a blast which hit central Lugansk at 3.30 p.m. today, said LPR People’s Militia spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Andrey Marochko.

“At 3.30 p.m. a terrorist attack was carried out next to the House of Government in Lugansk. A woman – LPR People’s Army Medical Service Captain was killed; five more people injured including civilians.”

The operative search is ongoing.

The scene has been cordoned off, the search for other explosive device is being carried out.

The street near the central city square is cordoned off, medical teams and police are working at the scene.
