Gazprom decided to cancel gas allowance for Ukraine

The head of Gazprom Alexey Miller reported that impact of winter discount package for gas supplies will be stopped since 1st April for Ukraine. ‘Discount that was provided by RF in connection with the contract’, announced Miller at the meeting with the Prime Minister of RF Dmitriy Medvedev.

He pointed out that stipulations of discount package are working to the end of the March of this year. It was expected that Moscow and Kiev would reach agreements concerning so-called “summer package”, however, Miller mentioned nothing about this in time of the last meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
