War-crazed dinosaur John McCain said that not providing Kiev weapons for the bloodbath in East Ukraine is “one of the most shameful chapters in American history.”
The remarks were made during a Sunday talk radio appearance, according to BuzzFeed, a trusted source for all things that make you say “OMG”. OMG, indeed. These are bold words, even for a veteran psychopath like John McCain.
One of the most shameful chapters in American history? Let’s brainstorm and see if we can think up a few, slightly more shameful chapters…
- For starters, how about that war you fought in, John? You helped kill around 2,000,000 civilians. And let’s not forget about the generations of Vietnamese who now suffer from birth defects and staggering cancer rates due to the use of Agent Orange and other chemicals. The Vietnam War — it keeps on giving! Shameful? “Meh.”
- How about that time we bankrolled Hitler, and then recruited his SS pals after the war?
- What about the 35 countries where the U.S. has supported fascists, drug lords and terrorists? Maybe slightly more shameful than not giving weapons to right-wing goons? Yes.
- Or all the countries we’ve bombed into the Stone Age since 1945?
- Let’s not forget how Obama waived almost all U.S. sanctions that would punish countries that use child soldiers, so that the U.S. can sell weapons to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and other bastions of democracy.
- What about all of the batshit-crazy murdering, bombing, torturing and droning that has happened since September 12, 2001? We are not even going to try listing it all. Needless to say, millions have perished, or been maimed or displaced. Entire countries have gone up in flames thanks to the garbage that John McCain spews on the Senate floor. Shameful? It’s all relative!
In conclusion: Not giving Kiev weapons isn’t a shameful chapter in U.S. history — it’s actually one of the only “chapters” that doesn’t fit with the rest of America’s legendary propensity for giving aid and comfort to the scum of the earth.
