A mourning rally dedicated to the Odessa massacre victims took place in Lugansk yeterday. It was held near the monument to the residents of Lugansk region killed by the Ukrainian OUN-UPA Nazis during the Great Patriotic War.
The rally was attended by the LPR head Igor Plotnitsky, the Chairman of the LPR People’s Council Vladimir Degtyarenko, Lugansk Mayor Manolis Pilavov, the Chairman of the LPR Federation of Trade Unions Oleg Akimov, the official representatives of the World Federation of Trade Unions, youth organizations and residents of the city.
“Unfortunately, joy and pain always go together in our life. Yesterday, we celebrated a big holiday. Today, we’re honouring the memory of our people burned alive in Odessa. Independent Ukraine was also killed in that flame, because the state, which burns alive its own people, cannot be called a state which protects the interests of the people. We’ve gathered here to honour the memory of those killed and to remind everyone that the Banderist ideology and Nazism won’t pass! We will do everything possible so that the fascist hydra will die in its lair,” – Igor Plotnitsky said
