Aleksandr Zakharchenko, Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, appointed a new Mayor of Debaltsevo
The Administration of the Head of the DPR reported this on February 18, according to TASS agency.
“Aleksandr Zakharchenko, Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, appointed Afendikov Aleksandr Grigoryevich the head of Town Administration of Debaltsevo”, the report states.
Zakharchenko also issued a decree on the formation of the working group “on reconstruction of the town and its return to peaceful life”.
“In the nearest time the list of measures aimed at reconstruction of Debaltsevo’s infrastructure”, the Administration of the Head of the DPR said.

As a Greek I feel very honoured that a Greek be the mayor of Debaltsevo, as the Greek flag on his left arm and his name indicate. I am proud that ethnic Greeks play their role in the defence of their homeland and especially against Nazism.
