Own electric power system was established in the DPR

The self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic is preparing for power independence, reported the Minister of Fuel and Energy Complex of the DPR Evgeniy Fainitskiy.

‘We are independent from Ukraine; they are hanging on our sleeve. We will adopt the documents concerning our own power system and our own regulator. We will cooperate with Ukraine on the base of equal partner relationships’, said he.

Fainitskiy pointed out that The DPR is self-sufficient if consider power resources, and rotating power cuts will not reflect upon power supply of Donbass.

‘Energy balance of our republic is enough for the population and enterprises’, added he.
