Pavel Gubarev on the Minsk agreements of February 12, 2015

The paper signed in Minsk does not solve the fundamental controversies and problems inside former Ukraine (including Novorossiya). The exchange rate already has reached 30 UAH for USD, and this is only the start of the downfall of Hryvnya. Ukrainian government consists of thieves and corrupted thugs. The Parliament is a collection of Nazis, the ATO veterans, oligarchs and their stooges. Social and economic collapse of Ukraine is imminent. That is why Europe plays on our side and is readily reacting to Putin’s peace initiatives (even the rhetoric of Merkel has changed). Europe acted as the guarantor of the agreements realizing that Ukrainian collapse is a real problem for Europe, and Europe will have to cover the expenses from its own pocket, which is, unfortunately, empty. Europe has got to take care of Greece and Spain already and is facing a whole lot of financial, social and economic hardships. “Elderly” Europe will not cope with such burden ad bankrupt Ukraine.
The paper signed does not solve the fundamental global conflicts and the systemic crisis in which Europe is wallowing together with the US. Overproduction of dollar and the ensuing wreckage of the global system of credits and finances forces the USA to provide for the controlled chaos aimed at retaining of global dominance by the US and elimination (weakening) of their geo-political enemies (Russia in this case).
American “hawks” extend massive pressure on their puppet Poroshenko in order for him to keep on with the war, promising him weapons and funds. It is not for nothing that Poroshenko left the hall of the talks several times – he phoned his masters. That was why only in half an hour after the signing Poroshenko called the treaty’s terms nonexecutable. Perhaps he is not going to abide by them? I think for this reason we should expect the continuation of the war and even its escalation.
