The current situation in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) remains quiet, the local authorities have not registered shelling from positions of the Kiev Regime military, heads of local district and city administrations said on Sunday.
“The situation is quiet, no shelling,” according to Head of Yasinovataya Yuri Korsar .
The situation in the city of Donetsk is also quiet, the city administration said.
The Contact Group on settlement of the situation in Donbass on August 26 agreed on truce from September 1. A few violations of the ceasefire regime have been registered lately.
The foreign ministers of Russia, Ukraine, France and Germany, known as the Normandy Four, expressed satisfaction over the ceasefire in Donbass that holds on the whole, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said after the end of talks in Berlin late on September 12.
“We have held significant talks in the Normandy Four format in line with our leaders’ instructions. First of all, we expressed satisfaction over the ceasefire in Donbass that is holding more or less,” Lavrov said. “Isolated episodes of shooting can be recorded but on the whole the assessment of the developments is rather positive.”
“It coincides with the assessment voiced by our countries’ leaders in telephone conversations,” he said.
Talks of the Normandy Four (Russia, Germany, France, Ukraine) leaders on the Ukrainian issue took place in the Belarusian capital Minsk on February 12. Simultaneously, regular talks of the Contact Group were held in Minsk on February 10-12.
The talks ended by adoption of a 13-point package of measures, which contained in particular a ceasefire, withdrawal of heavy weapons, as well as measures on long-term political settlement of the Ukrainian crisis, including enforcement of a special self-rule status for certain districts of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

The Junta has called out Russia’s and Novorossiya’s bluff and will not break “Minsk” anymore. This means DPR and LPR will be forced to comply and are going right back under Junta control. The longer this ‘peace’ lasts, the less chance there is DPR and LPR will survive the year. An all out attack would serve them better, because then they could beat the Junta and run them off their land. As it is now, all is playing into the hands of US and EU.
