Reconnaissance teams of the DPR Army detected MRLS of Ukrainian Armed Forces in Konstantinovka and Kurakhovo

Reconnaissance teams of the DPR Army detected new facts of Ukrainian Armed Forces heavy weaponry deployment in Donbass, claimed Executive Commander of Corps of the DPR Ministry of Defense Eduard Basurin.

“Intelligence of the DPR Army keeps on registering facts of Ukrainian military equipment and personnel movement, — the Executive Commander of Corps said. — Thus, deployment of MRLS BM21 “Grad” was recorded in localities Konstantinovka and Kurakhovo — eight and one system respectively. Firing positions of self-propelled guns – three units – had been detected in the area of locality Krasnoye”.

On behalf of the DPR Basurin addressed the Kiev authorities once more with the demand “to terminate all kind of activities leading to wrecking of the Minsk Agreement”.

According to the Set of Measures in Implementation of the Minsk Agreement signed by the Contact Group on February 12, heavy artillery of 100-mm and larger caliber should have been withdrawn from the demarcation line to the distance of 50 km, MRLS — to 70 km, MRLS “Tornado”, “Uragan”, “Smerch”, as well as missiles “Tochka” — to the distance of 140 km. The sides should have withdrawn their heavy armaments to the equal distance, at that Kiev — from the current contact line, and the DPR and LPR — from the line, registered by the Minsk memorandum of September 19.
