Russian Anisiya Neborako has secured gold in the solo event of the synchronized swimming competition at the first European Games in Azerbaijan’s capital Baku.
The Russian swimmer, 18, took the gold with 170, 9924 points earned for two programs. Spain’s Berta Ferreras Sanz came second with 162, 9758 points, and Anna-Maria Alexandri of Austria won the bronze with 162, 4333 points.
Russia’s national team continues taking lead at the competitions. Russia’s athletes have won 10 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze medals.
