The ex-Defence Minister of the DPR Igor Strelkov announced that the major part of the city has been already occupied by the militia. And he confirmed the announcement of the head of the DPR Alexandr Zaharchenko that the half of the city is controlled by the NAF.
‘Fierce Street battles are going on in Debaltsevo’, announced Strelkov. ‘The half of the city has been taken by the militia’, he pointed out.

Strelkov may be not in Debaltsevo. If he were here, the situation would have been better. He made a lot for Novorossia, firs of all, he raise spirits of the Army of Novorossia, and he brought discipline.

Unfortunatelly, you are not properly informed. All these events, I mean creation of the DPR started exactly in Donetsk, the administrative buiding was stormed headed by the Kiev MP Semen Semenchenko. It started at the end of the March. Slavyansk was envaded on the Easter Day, 20th April. And Strelkov arrived to the Donetsk region not in April, may be in June.
