The scandal flared up in Slavyansk because of masking nets which are knitted by volunteers in the building of the Central library. In regard to the words of the organizers of the campaign, they have already given one net to the soldiers which are based in the town.
They plan to achieve more activity from local people, and add pupils to the patriotic campaign.
Meanwhile, not all teachers and parents of Slavyansk agree with this. They are against with such providing help by children to fighters. A teacher of the boarding school 12 occurred in the center of the scandal. He announced that one of the volunteers offered to pupils to learn how to knit masking nets in time of the excursion in the central library, however, the teacher answered ‘We will not help to murders’.
The information concerning their initiation became known for the acting mayor Oleg Zotov who ordered to make control. Nevertheless, there were no volunteers who would give evidences against the teacher among parents and children.
