The mayor of Donetsk: Ukraine will be jealous of us

The head of Donetsk Igor Martynov invited dwellers of Donetsk to spend New Year Night in the central Lenin Square. The correspondent of Novorossiya reports that the mayor of the city has announced today coming festival events.
City authorities are planning to cancel closing time n the New Year’s Eve. The authorities of City Administration addressed with such proposition to the head of the Republic Alexandr Zaharchenko.
The visit of dwellers of Donetsk who were left without accommodations as a result of military action was planned by the city administration the nearest days. They will visit people who are living now in hostels and even in bomb shelters, they will give presents and humanitarian aid for people.
Generally, city authorities look to the future with optimism. ‘All these cataclysms have more strained and political character. I hope that military actions will have been fished up to the end of this year, and we will get ability to lead normal life. Believe me that Ukraine will be jealous of dwellers of the DPR in regard to the living standards and attitude to people’, pointed out the mayor.
