Ukraine’s Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said on Sunday the current government has managed to do much more over one year than the country’s previous cabinets.
“We have done a lot of mistakes. But we have conducted more reform over one year than all previous government in the previous years,” he said in an interview with the local television.
He pledged his team would not “stop halfway to reforms.” “We will continue reform against all odds,” he said, warning politicians and businessmen against trying to exert pressure on ministers. “From now on, there will be no distribution of portfolios under quotas. We declare intolerance to corruption,” he stressed.
He also promised “fair privatization” in 2016 and “complete transparency of the government activities.”
He once again vowed his government was acting as a single team.
