General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces plans to tighten control over the activity of reporters working in the zone operations of the pro-Kiev armed units in war-torn Donbass, Vladislav Seleznyov, an official representative of the General Staff told 112 Ukraina television channel on Saturday.
“The problem of strict regimentation of contacts between the military and the reporters of in the zone of ATO (the ‘antiterrorist operation’ as the Ukrainian government calls its military actions in eastern Ukraine – TASS) is getting on to the agenda,” he said. “We must spell out clearly what is allowed and what is not.”
“That’s because any information coming out of the zone of ATO shouldn’t bring any harm to the servicemen doing tours of duty on the frontline,” Seleznyov said.

I thought the term ATO had worn very thin a long time ago and had been forgotten.

No, they have to keep saying “ATO, ATO”
They cannot ever call it ‘war’ otherwise they can’t get any money from the IMF and the corrupt Lagarde, under IMF/World Bank rules,.
