Mission of the United Nations Organization called authorities of the country not to close the checkpoint at the contact line in Donbass, because it would complicate the humanitarian situation in Donbass. It was reported by the press-service of the mission.
‘Closing of checkpoints has direct influence upon lives of people, difficulties and humanitarian needs will increase. We call the authorities not to close checkpoints’; words of the coordinator of humanitarian questions Neil Walker were quoted.
According to the Walker’s opinion, if military actions restart, people will not be able to leave dangerous zone, and representatives of humanitarian missions will not be able to get the conflict zone.
Be reminded that authorities of Ukraine closed the checkpoint in the north of Gorlovka Zaytsevo yesterday. According to Mass Media resources, other checkpoints can close the nearest time also.
