Ukrainian MP Victoria Syumar is confident that Ukraine can’t return Crimea and Donbass, so there’s a need to place the issue on the renunciation of these areas to a referendum.
“In the near future, unfortunately, it would be extremely difficult to return everything, including Crimea. To return the Donbass, we need to invest huge resources in construction and development of areas. And the population of Donbass under the Russian propaganda hates Ukraine.
From my perspective, today we have to bring this issue to a referendum. How do Ukrainians see the future of Donbass. And then continue on the basis of the will of the people to build the policy”, she said.
