NOVOROSSIA TODAY SPECIAL EDITION, BRINGING YOU UP TO DATE ON NUCLEAR THREATS ~ (DEFCON Warning System Is US Based)
This is the DEFCON Warning System. Alert status for 6 P.M., From Wednesday, March 1st, 2017. Condition code is Green. DEFCON 5.
There are currently no imminent nuclear threats against the United States at this time.
The DEFCON Warning System is growing concerned over the political instability currently occurring in the United States as some parties work against the interest of the U.S. in order to further their own political goals. Meanwhile, the U.S. President seems to be backing away from more bombastic foreign policy statements made during campaign, aligning U.S. policy more with previous administrations, including lessoning rhetoric against China. However, there still continues to be tension between the United States and Russia. Russia is losing its hope over better relationships with the U.S., while the U.S. looks to increase its military spending by more than 10%. Additionally, some analysts are urging the United States to develop more low yield nuclear weapons for a limited war.
Russia has recently deployed cruise missiles in violation of its treaty with United States and continues to develop railway-delivered nuclear missiles, which are much more difficult to locate prior to launch. Additionally, Russia feels threatened by NATO movements in Baltic and Poland while the U.S. moves a ship to Yemen as tension with Iran builds.
Analysis of the recent North Korean missile launch reveal a more stable, more quickly launched missile. Also in the area, The International Institute for Strategic Studies warns that China’s military development has placed it on ‘near-parity’ with Western nations, with some weapons having no equivalent.
The DEFCON Warning System is a private intelligence organization which has monitored and assessed nuclear threats against the United States by national entities for over 33 years. It is not affiliated with any government agency and does not represent the alert status of any military branch. The public should make their own evaluations and not rely on the DEFCON Warning System for any strategic planning. At all times, citizens are urged to learn what steps to take in the event of a nuclear attack.
If this had been an actual attack, the DEFCON Warning System will give radiation readings for areas that are reported to it. Your readings will vary. Official news sources will have radiation readings for your area.
