The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has no more concerns regarding the formation of the Crimean Football Organisation, Yuri Vetokha, a candidate to head the organisation, said on Thursday.
The Crimean Football Organisation (CFO) will have a special status and unite the football federations of Crimea and Sevastopol.
“We have held a video conference with UEFA to discuss the [organisation’s] charter details,” Vetokha told TASS.
He said the charter would soon be forwarded to the Russian Justice Ministry for registration.
“I think the official CFO foundation ceremony will be held by the end of next week,” Vetokha said.
In December 2014, UEFA banned Crimean football clubs from taking part in Russian championships.
