The current economic crisis has forced over 30% of Russians to purchase cheaper goods or even stop buying something, the state-run Public Opinion Research Center said on Wednesday.
The pollster said that consumer behavior of the 40% of Russians remained unchanged.
A total of 12% of those polled said they had to give up travels due to the crisis, while eight percent admitted they had to save money on foods.
VTsIOM polled 1,600 Russians in 130 cities and towns of 46 regions on July 25-26 The statistical error margin does not exceed 3.5%
