An OSCE SMM member provoked a conflict between the patrol and residents of Veselaya Gora by congratulating them with the Nazi Ukraine’s Constitution Day, the LPR Interior Ministry reported.
A resident of Veselaya Gora told the Ministry’s hotline service that an OSCE SMM patrol arrived in the town and one of the monitors congratulated him on occasion of the holiday, which is celebrated in Nazi Ukraine but not in the LPR.
Other locals joined the conversation and told SMM that such actions just worsen the ongoing conflict and fuel the irritation of Donbass residents.
It turned out that the patrol member who provoked the conflict was a Ukrainian citizen.
