Ukrainian state migration service in Lugansk region sells passports to fighters of nationalistic squads and ISIS gunmen, LPR Interior Ministry reported citing a migration service employee who called the ministry’s hotline.

“The service is mostly popular with foreigners – members of nationalistic squads, criminals at large, people of Middle East descent. At least two of them were identified as the IS members, another one as an Al-Nusra fighter,” the Ukrainian migration service staff member said.

“The scheme covers two main programs: selling of fake passports and selling the IDs of those Ukrainian soldiers dead or missing in the ATO operations with their personal data being changed in the database.”

“The prices start at 30,000 USD for a fake, and 2,000 USD for a missing person ID.”

“The fact check revealed the report is trustworthy. Besides, Ukrainian minister of interior Arsen Avakov is aware of the scheme and benefits from it,” LPR Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
