Sixteen civilians died as a result of shelling of the Donetsk People’s Republic by Ukrainian military in the period from June 27 till July 3, the representative of the DPR ombudsman office reported.
“From June 27 till July 3 sixteen civilians were killed in the republican territory as a result of hostilities, all of them males”, — the spokesperson stated.
According to the DPR ombudsman office, the inhabitants of Gorlovka and Spartak settlement in the Yasinovataya district of the Republic constitute the majority of casualties.
“Also five civilians were hospitalized with injuries of different severity, all of them males”, — the spokesperson added.
Be reminded that “the ceasefire regime” was officially enacted in Donbass on February 15 starting at 01:00 Donetsk time. The demand to cease fire was provisioned by the Set of Measures for the Implementation of the Minsk Agreement. The document was signed by the participants of the Contact Group (DPR, LPR, OSCE, RF and Ukraine) on February 12. DPR authorities repeatedly claimed that the ceasefire regime should be observed by the Ukra9inian side as well, nevertheless Ukrainian military have not stopped shelling of DPR localities till the present day, which results in civilian casualties.
