The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine estimates that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are critically low on supply of certain vital defense materiel. Ukrainian Defence Minister, Gen. Stepan Poltorak, sent a document detailing the failures of their military supply chain to the Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council, Oleksandr Turchynov, earlier this week.
In an ironic sense, the bulk of Ukrainian exports these past months has been bullets and shells to Malaysia, India, and other nations in Africa.
“It is necessary to point out that the Defence Ministry of Ukraine already understands that the situation is critical, because they are unable to adequately supply sniper rifles and the materiel necessary to operate artillery pieces, to the soldiers.”
