Residents of the capital of Greece held a rally in support of the people of Donbass in the central square of Athens, Syntagma or Constitution Square, located in front of the Greek parliament. This was reported in the LPR Trade Union Federation (TUF).
The event was organized by the theater group “2510” in cooperation with the organization “Save Donbass / Greece”.
‘Our friends and supporters abroad are trying to attract the attention of the authorities to the tragic events in Donbass. It is no accident such actions are held in central squares, in front of buildings of the official authorities which, as we know, turn a blind eye to the real situation, trying to ignore the death and suffering of the people in Donbass. Now they will not be able to do it. They will have to face the truth and admit the crimes of the Kiev regime against the people of Donbass,’ said the chairman of the LPR TUF, Oleg Akimov.
Rally in support of Donbass was held in the center of Madrid~
A meeting in connection with the aggravation of the situation in Donbass was held in the center of Madrid in front of the Foreign Ministry in the evening on February 5. The protesters demanded that the Spanish government stop supporting Kiev and break off the diplomatic relations with Ukraine.
Dozens of people took part in the protest action, held under the slogan of ‘Kiev is bombing civilians. Donbass is resisting’. The reason for the rally was the sharp aggravation of the situation in the east of Ukraine. The participants held photos of the destroyed localities, as well as the flags of the unrecognized republics DPR and LPR.
‘We urge the Spanish government to sever the diplomatic relations with the Government of Ukraine,’ said the spokesperson of the «Forum against the imperialist war and NATO», the organizer of the action, Ángeles Maestro.
